How to Turn Your LinkedIn Profile Into an Interview Magnet

1. Keyword-Optimize Your LinkedIn
LinkedIn is a Search Engine. So if recruiters can’t find you, they cannot call.

To show up in the right searches, you need the right keywords in the right places:
✅ Headline
✅ About section
✅ Past job titles
✅ Job descriptions

Here’s the easiest hack: Start by keyword-optimizing your résumé, then copy it over to your LinkedIn profile (literally, ctrl C, ctrl V)

2. Promote Your Accomplishments
Once a recruiter finds your profile, they need a reason to stay.

Here’s a framework my client used to create a compelling About section:
✨ Professional summary: Copy it straight from your résumé.
✨ Top 3 accomplishments: Show off measurable, impactful results. Copy it from your job description.
✨ Target skills/keywords: Include 20+ skills relevant to your desired roles. Copy it from your skills highlight section.

Think of your profile as a sales page for your one-person business (YOU).

3. Track Your Metrics
Every two weeks, track:

📊 Number of search appearances.
📊 Job titles you were found for.
📊 Who viewed your profile.

This will allow you to further optimize your keywords for the right roles.

If your LinkedIn isn’t landing interviews, it’s not doing its job.
